The Battery Shed Delivery Policy
The Battery Shed is proud to offer customers a delivery option for their convenience (where customer does not wish to have the battery installed by The Battery Shed).
At The Battery Shed we offer same day delivery for a small fee of $10 (including GST), or free next day delivery.
Delivery is available during our business hours, Monday to Friday. Delivery on Sundays and Public Holidays may be available, please ring to enquire.
Delivery is only guaranteed within a 10km radius of our business premises (Bridges Road, Morayfield). If you are outside of this 10km radius, your battery will still be delivered but may incur an additional charge, however this will be discussed with you prior to your battery purchase. Delivery is only available within the Moreton Bay Region. There is currently no minimum spend required to qualify for free next day delivery or $10 same day delivery. You, or a person you nominate, must be available to receive and pay for the delivery.
Unable to deliver
Every effort will be made to ensure your order will be delivered in line with your delivery preference of either next day or same day for $10, however there may be an occasion where delivery is unavailable as the battery/s is out of stock or due to other unforeseen circumstances. If this happens, you will be contacted to discuss the updated estimated time of delivery.
Cancelling your order
If at any time you want to cancel a battery order (being delivered same day or next day), please contact us as soon as possible on 0488 492 887.
Fitment & installations
Some batteries are hard to fit, however we are here to help and if following delivery you decide you require assistance to install, we will endeavour to accommodate you into our schedule at no additional charge. Please be advised that same day installation (same day as battery delivery), may not be possible.
The Battery Shed Returns Policy
All refund rights under both State and Commonwealth law apply. Our battery/s come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure. You are also entitled to have the battery/s replaced if the battery/s fail to be of acceptable quality and failure does not amount to a major failure. Please read the following carefully to ensure you are fully aware of your rights under the policy and our obligations to you.
When you change your mind
- At The Battery Shed you have 30 days to return your battery/s for a full refund or exchange as long as it is returned in a saleable condition with original proof of purchase. The refund will be provided using your original payment method.
- By saleable condition we mean that the battery hasn’t been used.
If you can’t provide proof of purchase, you may provide a bank statement which shows the transaction or a photo of the receipt. Your proof of purchase may be available at our business premises. In the event that there is no way to determine that the battery/s was purchased from The Battery Shed, it will be at our discretion as to whether we provide a refund or replacement.
Proof of Purchase
Returns, refunds, exchanges or repair requests must be accompanied by any one of the following proof of purchase documents:
- Original email or sms receipt
- Online Tax Invoice (if provided)
- Financial Statement (i.e bank statement, credit card statement).
Excluded change of mind items
Installed Batteries cannot be returned if you change your mind.
You will be asked for information that is relevant to your return or to satisfy legislative requirement. If you do not provide this information, then we may be unable to process your return. When returning battery/s with proof of purchase, you will be asked for your signature as authorisation of the return transaction. If The Battery Shed agrees to a return without adequate proof of purchase, it will be at our own discretion and you may be asked to provide identification containing your full name.
